Stainless steel Electrode
Stainless steel electrodes are designed for welding both standard and special grades of stainless steel. They come in various forms, including coated electrodes, powder wire, and solid wire.
Stainless steel electrodes are particularly well-suited for universal welding of thin stainless steel. They offer excellent weldability, ensuring a stable arc and weld pool. Their slag removal properties contribute to the excellent surface quality of the stainless steel weld.
These electrodes enable quick and efficient work. They can be used for welding austenitic stainless steel (with or without molybdenum content), duplex stainless steel, and stainless steel with carbon steel. Tests have shown that stainless steel electrodes outperform other stainless steel electrodes, delivering approximately twice the performance.
Stainless electrodes excel in various applications, including factory welding, sheet metal welding, and repair work. As demands for welding materials increase, stainless electrodes with one-sided root rolls are becoming more prominent. They offer precise control over the arc, weld pool, and slag, ensuring the highest quality root weld.
These electrodes feature a rutile-acid coating and are suitable for horizontal welding and positional welding of stainless steels using direct current of positive polarity or alternating current.
