Solder POS30 is a low-melting material containing 70% lead and 30% tin, with a melting point of 256C. To obtain the physical and chemical properties required by the consumer, the metal can be enriched with such substances as copper, bismuth, iron, antimony, nickel, sulfur, zinc, aluminum. The roll is represented by rods, bars, wire with a diameter of 0.5 to 7 mm, tape, foil, powder and a tube with a diameter of up to 5 mm filled with rosin, as well as a paste that includes solder powder and liquid flux.

It is used for soldering and tinning works with copper, iron, tin, brass mechanical parts of inappropriate purpose.

Solder POS-61 occupies a special place in the classification of solders. This is due to the fact that the content of rosin is indicated in this alloy, so it can be successfully used for tinning and soldering of various control and measuring devices.

Solder POS-61 is a universal material that is ideal for any type of wire. It is also noted that it immediately shows itself when soldering microcircuits. In addition, if it is not possible to allow overheating of the soldering place during work, then POS-61 solder will cope with the task much more effectively than many other alloys. The manufacturer notes that the main field of use of POS61 solder is live soldering of semiconductor devices, connector terminals, and copper wires. It is worth noting that this is the optimal choice for joining the following metals: steel, brass, bronze, copper.

Characteristics.

The melting point of PIS 61 solder is 183 0C, while it completely melts at 190 degrees. Soldering with this solder can be done using a traditional soldering tool.
