Black metal Bar
A metal circle (bar) is a universal type of graded rolled metal with a circular cross-section of 5-250 mm in diameter. Depending on the type of production, products can be cold-drawn or hot-rolled.
Characteristics
The role of raw materials can be alloyed, low-carbon, carbon, tool, corrosion-resistant, heat-resistant steel, as well as steel of special grades. According to the accuracy of manufacture and degree of strength, the black rolled metal circle is divided into three types:
- “A” – increased accuracy. Products of this type have a strict length and diameter, and are characterized by a minimum bending angle;
- “B” – The rods of this type are characterized by decent quality and have a diameter of the rod that does not hesitate, minimal bending;
- “C” – Provides a normal level of accuracy. Most steel bars belong to this group.
Scope of use
Representing a round cross-section, the circle is used in industry in the manufacture of pipes, springs, springs and other parts. Steel wheels are also used in the production of cutting tools and railway fasteners. By purpose, rolled metal is divided into general and special. General-purpose steel circles include welded, bolted, and riveted structures, and special, for example, calibrated parts.
Steel circles are widely used in the industrial, economic, and construction industries. Light and heavy industry, production of metal structures and various communication facilities cannot do without them.
