ARMCO Sheet
ARMCO Steel is non-alloy electrical steel, which is an iron alloy with varying silicon content, depending on the required properties.
It is usually produced in the form of sheets or narrow strips with a thickness of 0.05-1 mm. Since the sheets are obtained by rolling the ingot in a cold or hot state, electrical steel is divided into hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel, which differ in their electromagnetic properties: resistivity, coercive force, magnetic permeability, and hysteresis loop width.
This type of steel is mainly used for manufacturing magnetic cores for electrical equipment:
relays, transformers, generators, chokes, stabilizers. The storage conditions for this material correspond to the storage conditions for most metals: it should be kept in a well-ventilated, dark warehouse protected from moisture.
